FOIM, the Foundation of the Engineer of the Province of Milan, was created in 1998 on the initiative of its professional Order, for the purpose of strengthening, supporting and promoting the engineer’s position; such a profession is by its nature tasked to put its knowledge and expertise at the service of society, pursuing constant improvement and benefit for the community.

OUR ACTIVITIES

FOIM plans, organises and provides courses, seminars and formation and refresher laboratories in all sectors and for all expertise of engineering. A broad annual selection is designed by the Commissions of the Order of the Engineer of the Province of Milan, so as to train and perfect the professional figures as requested by the labour market, in compliance with the ministerial rules and updates.

Lectures and speeches are entrusted with university professors, professionals and experts and are enriched by partnerships with individuals belonging to the world of research, trade associations, enterprise.

FOIM also offers to companies in Lombardy tailored training courses for personnel refreshment and it organises cultural and promotional events.
